Is there any way to change the scanned file name sent from a Ricoh 3030. I can change in manually for each file. but is there anyway to change the default so its always something like (scan_1 , scan_2) instead of the date and some random numbers after it?

The default format for scanning is a date/timestamp,the typical format is DDMMYYHHMMSSSS.file type extension. This can be changed on a per scan basis by the user but cannot be altered as a default. You would need to consider an additional utility. (Globalscan/Ecopy)Comment

Would it be possible to make a new program in scanning for each user?
The idea is that you would make all the selections for file type, name, resolution etc and then press the program key to store the settings for each individual user.
Would this work?
I don't know, but boy, am I ever excited. I can hardly wait for Monday morning so I can try this.Comment

Probably the best way to accomplish this would be with GlobalScan NX Serverless.
We had to do this last year for a bank that had the exact same request.“I think you should treat good friends like a fine wine. That’s why I keep mine locked up in the basement.” - Tim HawkinsComment
