hello all ..l have code error SC285 in copier ricoh AF3235 ..please anyone have the explation for this code explaine me ...???

Item :Line position adjustment (MUSIC) error

Definition : Line position adjustment fails four consecutive times.

Possible Cause : • Pattern sampling error due to insufficient image density of patterns used for the adjustment
• Inconsistency in the sampling line position adjustment pattern due to dust on the pattern, damage to the OPC
drum,damage or toner dropped on the transfer belt, or a dirty or defective ID sensor

Troubleshooting Procedure : 1. Check and fix the problem that causes low image density. .
2. Clean or replace the transfer belt and/or the ID sensor.
3. Replace the PCU or clean the development unit that causes toner to drop on the transfer belt.

thx friend hosennet l will try this operation now

remove the transfer belt and clean all rollers of the transfer unit - especially that roller on the top/left side wich looks like coated with chrome. This one is important because it's reflecting the beams of the MUSIC sensors. The inside/outsinde of the transfer belt itself should look lean and (half-way) healthy as well.
