Hi all
I'm having an odd fault on a SR5000 that's bolted onto a Pro 1357ex. The machine will do a job and when the job is removed from shift tray it does not return all the way to its home position. This in itself doesn't call up any error codes, until you try to set another job it calls up R1 and R4 jams and throws up an SC750. I have run through the outputs and it behaves normally, I can't see any problems with the array of gears that drive the tray.
Unfortunately, I thought I had sorted it as it was behaving when I left the customer, but they called back the say the tray was now not moving up or down at all, but it was moving side to side when the machine is restarted and then straight away calling a paper jam R1 and R4, they didn't mention the SC750, but I suspect the error is up there too. I was wondering if it could be due to the grub screws being loose in the gears in the shift tray drive......?
Does any have any ideas or experienced anything like this? I'm heading back up there in the a.m. to have another go.
As always, many thanks in advance
