Wanted analogue color photocopier ricoh nc100 nc305 or similar

i need an analogue colour photocopier that doesn't use waxed toner, something like the
ricoh nc 100 or similar, I know it's nearly 20 years old but price is no problem if someone has one I'll be happy to buy or if you can suggest other models and makes that are the same.

    thanks

Dare we ask why you want one of these outdated dinosaurs? They were ugly pigs when they were new.

Given that you're in the film business, I'm assuming that you're looking for the "smoothness" that the analog machines could yield versus their digital descendants. Sort of like the difference between audio CDs and vinyl LPs.

Unfortunately, I really can't even imagine finding a working model of this ancient generation, let alone one that's working well. While a simple Google search found toner, the parts stopped being available eons ago.

Then, of course, there's the issue of finding somebody to service it that has ever even seen one before.

A needle in the proverbial haystack, at best!

Maybe you could get a small UV coater or apply some type of coating on a wax or inkjet print out. The coatings would add some glossy shine, UV the most, aqueous less (and is writable) while making the surface smooth at the same time. There are stand alone coaters and you might even be able to get it done at a local commercial printer without having to buy the machine.

Thanks for replying, I use the photocopies, to transfer the colour on to wood, I soak the wood surface with drycleaning fluid
then press the photocopys face down. The images transfer onto the wood sharp and clear.

I've been repairing this machine for years, even having spare parts made, but it's dead and though still trying to bring it to life the chances are slim. From what I can understand it's the toner, which is non waxed, If I use a modern photocopy the colour spreads
over the wood when I transfer. There must be someone out there who has an old analogic colour photocopier, I'm trying to find them.
Or a newer model that still uses non waxed toner ( Ithink)

What about those screen printers they use on t-shirts, or maybe they're called silk screens. I don't know if that could work or not. Call some of your local copier dealers. Sometimes they have really old forgotten stuff in storage or warehouses.

I have some odd's & ends for NC100's, FT4460's and other machines of that era (FT2260/4480/6620).
