MP1600 tray empty problem

Hi

Pls can someone told me how to solve this problem: The paper tray empty indicator blink on for fax when i input paper. i check & replace paper sensor but same problem persist.The paper tray are full but it alway indicate empty tray on fax selection. For copier, printer selection it ok. What to do? The machine was a ricoh Mp1600spf.

I had this once, but the paper present sensor fixed it for me.. I don't know why it only showed empty on fax though.
Possibly a bad sensor out of the box.?

Look at the setting in UP15-0,1,2 or turn tray selection off with 15-5
