Hello brothers in UK.
I want to buy Ricoh colour copier from a dealer UK. After negotiation he comes up and say the price does not include toners and developer and I have to pay extra for toners and developer. He said that's standard practice. Somebody advise me.

It depends on the contract you negotiate. You can get contracts that include supplies but the cost will be built in. There are different levels of toner/supply inclusive contracts, usually low,middle and high volume. You are given a base amount of copies you can make per quarter, anything over that amount incurs an extra per copy charge (say .01 cents for b&w and .05 cents for color). What you need to look at is your total cost of ownership - price of copier, service and supplies divided by your total print volume estimate and length of contract. That should give you a good approximation of what the actual cost per copy is.

They offer 2799.5pounds for MPC 2050AD with cabinet excluding shipping and VAT and we are picking 10units. Is this a good deal? Does anyone knows where I can get a better deal.

The 2799.5pounds above does not include toners and developers. I have to buy that separately. Is this how copiers are sold in UK? Quoted prices for outright purchase does not include toner and developer.
