Asking for black toner. Replaced it and its pumping still asking for it. Took transfer assly out and it was loaded with bl toner. Checked black t hopper and it wasn't topped off. I think there is an arcing problem somewhere but I can't see or here it. Its pulling the black toner through and its getting all over the transfer belt but not coming to ready. Thanks t

I've seen similar fault on a different machine-it was the blck pcu arcing and pulling toner all over the place and causing a false TD reading.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change.

The developer clutch in the rear probably needs to be replaced. It won't release, causing the developer to be depleted in no time. Pull out the developer assy, is the mag roll fully covered? Pretty common issue with this model, may want to do all 4 clutches since you're back there.

usually its a bad pcu that causes this, but i have had a couple that needed both the dev unit and pcu

No, they may or may not test good with the output check. I've never noticed that they get dirty, I think it has more to do with residual magnetism that keeps it engaged when the power is removed. Don't forget to take a bk dev unit with you also.

The trouble with the clutches is that they tended to stick on and the developer was depleted.
The first symptom was diagonal blank bands through the image.
Eventually the machine will pop a service code since the dev unit is full of toner, not developer.

The part number for the clutch was changed to AX200273.
You will have to replace the clutch and the development unit at the same time.

It's recommended that you upgrade all four clutches to the new part.

Probably from the echo in the room.
The part number is useful though.
