Aficio 3245c- vertical lines/columns double printing.

When i print off the counter page or a word document that consists of rows and columns,(in portrait, lef, format) the vertical lines or columns are printed in double, approx .5mm apart.Horizontal is fine. I did the laser pithc adjustment for 600 and 1200 dpi-no luck. Any ideas please lads N ladies

I have had this error many times. I have only ever been able to resolve it by changing the Laser Unit. I seem to remember something about them modifying some of them (I could be wrong as it's been a while).

Some things to check before you go ahead and order a new Laser unit. I will forward 2 Ricoh Technical Bulletins about issues related to Vertical Lines in case either of those are relevant if you PM me your e-mail address. If you have access to these yourself they are RTB numbers RB178020a and RB178037.

    Hope this helps

Cheers my three legged friend, I went back today and whacked up the 600dpi pitch setting to 88 from 46 and it resolved it. Not a true fix I know but it will keep this thick of a customer at bay!
