    Savin 9918DP/Ricoh Aficio 180 Network upgrade

    We currently have a Savin 9918DP(Ricoh Aficio 180), It does not have the network/printer/scanner option. Is it posible to add this option, If so what hardware is required. and does it require any additional programming (uploading program).

          I found a Ricoh Network Interface Board 185-E B307-17, which according to the service manual is the correct board, but I'm not sure if that is all that is required.

              No, the printer controller board and a hard disk need to be installed too.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  And, additional memory. This model was discontinued in 2004, with parts availability no longer guaranteed, so these options may not be available. You would be better off uograding to a newer model, as segguested by TonerMunkeh.
