    Hi to all,

    Color Registration at 1200x1200dpi doesen't work on a MP C4000, please see the attached example.

    How many copies has the machine done ?

    Timing coding strip along the edge of the ITB ???

    I'm not 100% sure are you getting SC443 ?

    SC2920 [Transfer Motor Speed] Allows setting to a one in the case of errors.

      I have also had problems doing this when my optics are dirty...
      Ricoh & Microsoft may pay the bills but Un*x saves my ass every day.
      MCSE/CCNE/ENS and other crap...

        See if you've got the factory SP mode sheet in the front cover, input the default values for registration and MUSIC. Then run Forced Line Position Adjustment modes C then A, Process Control Manual Pre-ACC then Normal, check the process control results, they should be all 1's, i.e 11111111. If not, check the SM for the error on the associated colour. Run normal ACC in user tools and that should sort it out. If it doesn't, engine clear time!

            In the attachment there are 2 vertical white bands, appearing only in 1200X1200 Dpi test pattern and not on the other ones, these are the same bands on as mine.
