    mp1100 sr5000 shows jam01

    I have a mp1100 with a sr5000 finisher that shows jam in R ( doesn't say which R) checked all sensors thru input checks, all sensors change state. any ideas?

    Have you looked at the jam log or printed the 5990-004 report?
    Ricoh & Microsoft may pay the bills but Un*x saves my ass every day.
    MCSE/CCNE/ENS and other crap...

      do this first. try removing the staple cartridge and see if the jam code clears

        last and only jam was 111 feed out belt, also removed staple cartridge, no luck

          Jam 111 is the feed out belt home position sensor. did you check that sensor using input checks.

            Mp1100 Jam

            Its aproblem from the homeposition sensor
            Try in SP Output Test Finisher Tray hav free way up and down.
            Sometimes it is the Motor he get to much dust from the brushes
            another way is on backside the position from the sensors look they have a good placing and the metal from the lift wents thru it normally
            look also about conectors fom the board
            hope its a little help

              Hi
              I agree with FLO. I have this problem. When machine is READY , call jam R1.
              I change lift motor and resolve the problem.
              AX05 0277 DC Motor:24V:9.9W this is a PART number of DC MOTOR
