    [Error Code] Ricoh 3245c message display across the top

    reads: "cannot connect to server for remote diagnostics - contact administrator, if this happens again call for service"


    checked service manual can't find anything.....

    any help would be apreciated.....

    Sounds like an issue with @Remote. Is that machine connected to it?

      machine is in the shop getting ready for install, the message was up when we got it from the wholesaler didn't think it was a big deal,
      but now we can't clear it before it goes out...

        Look for anything mentioning "RC Gate" in service mode and on the Administration menus and turn off everything you find inside - it's all I can think about.

            I agree with mrwho, sounds like @Remote is active. There are settings for the RC Gate in the WIM.

              This is, as stated by others, related to @Remote being enabled and not on the network. You can turn it of using SP5-816-3 set to "0" (This will disable the remote service function). You can also turn off remote service altogether by setting SP5-816-1 to "0".

                Another thing about this.... was the machine removed from the @remote center system by the previos account????
