Printing problem on ricoh Mp171spf

can someone help me? i have a client Having Ricoh Mp171spf, they tried to make prints but the printer blink green & on panel display it indicate "?". print dont come . I try to print a test page on computer same problem on panel display indicate "?",then i tried a configuration page on printer menu on machine same problem printer indicator blink green "Please wait" print dont come & few second machine stay offline. printer Block can not print. All printer feature block. the Fax,scan is ok. i support its between Gw card or memory. Does someone get this problem? Help

as you can scan, the option is OK and the nic is reachable, I would try a new controller board.

Might be worth trying SP5-801-8 to reinitialize the printer and some new RAM just in case, before the controller is replaced.

check the print status first on Web Image maybe printer authentication has enabled.

I remember having a similar issue on an LD015. Had to change the printer port from RAW to LPR. The queue name is lp.
Check the web interface though: it may be that authentication or some other form of access control is turned on.

I have check & change the Memory PC2100 512mb from another same machine Mp171spf ,its ok. Machine prints correctly. How its happened that problem the memory became defective, because my client asked me for explanation. How to reply that client.

Assuming no one has had their staticy hands in there, is the machine on a surge supressor? Good idea. On the other hand, shit happens.

It's electronics. Sometimes things just stop working. Guess the magic smoke got out of the DIMM. The surge suppressor, a good one - not a crappy power bar, is highly recommended.
