    Gestetner DSm735

We recently just moved our Gestetner to another location in the building due to some structured cabling changes. I tested and confirmed this printer to be working as of Monday yet today I sent a job to it and it failed. I have not been able to get it working.

The only thing I can think of that has changed is I went into the web interface last evening to add a user to be able to scan to their own directory. The weird this is is that the scanning still works. I can have a link light and I can ping the device as well. I have no idea why this thing will no longer print. I have added and deleted the printer in on our DC as well as tried deleting the network IP port it uses. Whenever I add the printer back though I get the same thing, failed print jobs. I don't have much experience with these things but I am knowledgeable with networking so I am hoping someone has some advice for further troubleshooting. Thank you

I would try uninstalling the machine again and reinstall it using a different driver. I have had to do this in the past.

first at all, i would disconnect the mashine from network and connect a laptop to it and try to print to analyse if the failure is in the mashine itself or in the customers network... did you do this already?

Don't know of any specific Gestetner site. Go to ricohusa.com for a full list of compatible drivers.Might try what Herrmann suggests also to isolate the problem.
