    Printing a Data log

I keep hearing about techs printing off data logs from printers to get Printcount, jam count, sc count, etc.
I'm reading a bunch of service manuals for information on how to print out a data log but i can't find it. Please help this is kind of irritating

Enter SP mode - copy sp - mode - SMC/SP Print (It will be at the end of the list) - logging data.

I print 5990-4 and -2. SP mode data is handy for fault finding, as is the non-default values page. As mikadonovan has said on the copiers it's Y107R, on printers it's hold up and down together for 5 seconds, then press enter. Then browse to 5 mode, down to 990, then 4 and 2.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

i do this as a standard procedure on every service call. it is a great troubleshooting tool, especially when 1) the key op is not available or 2) they are vague about the problem.."oh, it just keeps jammimg".
