going to work on a savin c3535, need to set it up for printing and scanning. The driver section for printing i can handle. Not sure on how this unit scans, scan to smb or does it need software to scan. Any information will be helpful.

You can scan using twain(network),SMB(scan to folder),scan to email,scan to url.
*install TWAIN you can download from the savin website.
or you can configure scan to folder and email. Check for a threads here on how to do it
