I have a mpc 2000 that fails registration. The problem is the magenta is being laid down late. BCY lay down fine. The full image is being produced about half an inch from leading edge. The trailing edge is left on image belt. Looking for suggestions.

You must have a problem with the transfer belt or laser, though I think you have no problems in the laser (because the delay is only in one color). Have you tried to do "force line position adjustment"? SP2-111-003 first and then 2-111-001. what the result gives you the SP 2-194-10 to 12? These SP's adjust the position of the laser mirrors. It would be good to test with another transfer belt, you could have a problem with the transfer roller Magenta -
I plan on going back Monday to try this. The strange part is the image is complete just late. The forced line position fails C and A. I was going to try sub scan registration for only this color. SP-2122 022-039. Thanks for the input. I will post results. If you think of anything else drop me a line.Comment
