2022 address book

I have a 2027 with scanning and fax. however, in the address book, the only destination that can be entered is the fax. Scanning is working, but can not add the scan destination to the address book.

I have seen issues like this, but only on the 2018 machines caused by installing the print/scan SD card in the wrong slot.

try to change the harddisk

try to reformat the hardisk maybe it will resolve the issue..had some scanning issue before where file transfer is not shown in the display and I could not edit the address book.after reformatting the harddisk the scanning worked fine.

There is an SP mode for resetting the address book. I have mostly used it on the MP161/171 units.

SP5-846-050 (all data
in the address
book–including the
user codes and
counters–is
initialized).

If you can use Smart Device monitor for Admin to try and back up the address book.
