    light copy in aficio 2045

    after 100 copy the copier become lighter & lighter...
    after this i will do "the force toner SP-2207"..

    i have replace developing unit with a new one from other machine..
    but the some problem accoured....

    how to resolve this??..

    why this machine is not stabil like other machine with mono component toner???

      The mylar tabs that sift and lift the toner have probably come off in the toner supply unit. Pop the chuck apart to inspect it. If that turns out to be the problem then you can replace just the paddle assy (A232 3240) or the entire hopper (B082 3209).

          i was to that, but is nothing problem with it, any Service mode or program which i must do?

              A new developing unit? You mean an old one with old developer in it. Replace the developer, rebuild the PCU and make sure there are no bent terminals on the back of the dev unit and that it's sitting far back enough to contact the socket correctly.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  There are many things you have to check. You said that you've set another developing unit in your machine. You must take your SM with you and read carefully What it said at SP 2-208,2-209,2-210,2-802,2-220. Also your ID sensor must be cleaned and be sure that your PCU is ok.(try it on another copier if you can). You'll have to play a little bit with your settings. Also you'll have to clean all contacts pretty well (PCU and dev unit).

                      I think you can also check the dc motor (ax05-0195),it's sometimes the problem is.

                          set your machine to fixed toner supply that's under toner supply mode sp2208 then run the required number of copies see if it gets lighter if it maintains good copy quality then try figure out if the TD sensor or ID sensor is fault.
