    [Error Code] SC 953

    hi guys i have a sr970 for mp7500 when you put the finisher it shows a paper jam at r1-r3
    then sc 953 occours with a msg of a problem with stapling unit,have replaced the stapling unit and and door switch to no avail sensor test done and they seem fine has anyone come accross this problem,pliz help!!
    n/b the manual states that it's on the z-folding but this model does not have it.

      SC953 is an IPU error ? unless im being stupid ?

          SC953 has nothing to do with the finisher. Like Comatose mentioned, it's an IPU error :

          The settings required for image processing using the scanner are not sent from the IPU.

          Could be an engine firmware issue.
