    [Error Code] Aficio 1224C Problem with SC544

    I have the Problem, that my machine show's SC544 and i wan't to fix this error by myself. Can anybody help me. I want first delete the errorcode, but i don't know exactly how. I hope anybody of the experts can help me.

      Sounds to me like the fuser's had it. Even if you reset the code, it will display the same code again shortly or immediately after. Just call a tech in, he'll fix it properly.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.

          I just want to try it. When it appears next time i have to call a tech. The main operation mode is scanning documents. The copy function is not so important at the moment, so my first goal is deleting the SC544 so that i can use the machine again.
          Later a tech can fix the fuser.
