    Ricoh MP7500 SC670

    hello, i have an MP7500 that keeps throwing up a SC670. i have tried disconnecting all boards and also tried running without the options attatched E.G fax & finnisher, has anyone else experienced this fault?

      Check if your BCU is seated nice and secure. Or if u have a parts machine, swap them over.

          as mentioned, try to boot with the HDD disconnected.

              bit of a hard one this if you never had, Sc670 . This is caused by the controller board power supply unit. Little psu that’s sits at the bottom of the controller box. Fuse blows on it and renders the Hdd u/s. Just change the Board. On some VERY RARE occasions this SC code can also be caused by the interface board the HDD plugs in to.


              More often than not it’s the little Power PCB .. part number
              AZ23 0198 Power Supply Unit:CTL:EU

                BUT.... unplug the hdd first! It would be a shame if you spent time and money ordering / waiting for the PSU and the HDD was faulty!
