    [Electrical] SP5100N with scrambled LCD

Why bother describing? Here's what it does:

Besides being scrambled, it "twitches" by itself, notice the "Ready" becoming "REAdy" and "READY" for a second without anyone touching the buttons. Likewise, while I navigate the menus, the top lines gets randomly scrambled.

Firmware upload didn't solve it. Checking the connectors didn't solve it.

Time to start swapping parts - which one would you bet on to be the first one?

Replace the entire display. I have seen a couple of these before and that's the only way to resolve the issue.
