    Ricoh CL7200 + IS300e has Error SC541, but I can't clear the error

Hi there, this is my first post.
My Ricoh Aficio CL7200 has error code SC541. Some how paper got jammed in the fuser's connection. After clearing the paper, and rebooting it still comes up with this error.
I did a search and found LaserSharp had this problem last month on his 7200.

The problem is the scanner on my 7200 doesn't seem to communicate with the printer. When doing "Clear, 1,0,7, hold stop for 5 seconds" it gives Scanner related options.

Is there a way to clear the code without the scanner? Or do I need to do something special to make the scanner talk to the printer?

    Thanks.

Hi - Ricoh had a LOT of trouble with their El-Cheapo scanners. They are so fragile that sometimes just shipping them, or even relocating them with slight bumps, prevented them from working. Ricoh would never tell you this, but then again the truth escapes Ricoh quite often. I, on the other hand, have no trouble with the truth.

        Thank you for the information!

As it turns out I was able to clear the code (It might have been SP5-810-1), and all is fine now.
