    Upgrade Ricoh Firmware with LAN CABLE ?

    Hi all

    Is there posibility to upgrade Ricoh MFD with lan cable if it is possible please explain me procedure

    Absolutely, just be sure to use the RFU firmware not the SD card firmware. You use the WIM to push it, but I don't have exact steps handy. Someone else will post the details I'm sure.

      Before you update the firmware, check the following:
      Current firmware version
      Machine status

      The IP address of the machine to be updated.
      Download for the firmware with .rfu extension
      In the Web Image monitor log in as an administrator go to Configuration-
      Device Settings - Firmware Update then browse for the firmware file with rfu extension - update
      You can also update the firmware remotely with FTP in some machines

      Nobody is perfect..

        Just what model is this for?

        Older machines can't be updated via the WIM.

          Thank you very much for the answers. Well as I can understand the newer models of copiers by WIM and how the procedure would be for older models if they can be upgraded via the LAN or not. Maybe there is some tool that can be upgraded. I expect your answers.

              Thanks a lot for this i have one more thing to ask please tell me were to find ricoh firmwere becouse i am not official ricoh distributor or some one please if can send me firmwares for

              Ricoh Aficio 551/700, 1060/1075, 2075, and for Lanier LD124c please please please English version becouse i want to change language the many on this photocopiers are in German but i need it on English. Also now i need for that but i also want to upgrade to latest firmware
