2238c light black and white copies

I was wondering if there's another reason that there would be light copies other than a bad drum, or dev. Is there a way i can turn up the exposure or something like that?

first at all, make a print, for example print out the count sheet. How does it looks like? is it ok, or faded out also?

Depends how light they are, if only slightly, make sure the machine is set to default TEXT mode in black and white. Factory setting is text / photo.

Laser slit glass... That would be the first thing that I would check AFTER you check the counter page to see if it has the same symptoms.
