    AF3030 PCU

    Hi,
I have problem with AF3030 PCU unit, then I replaced with AF2027 PCU unit. The AF2027 CPU can fit in in to AF3030. However, the printing quality is not good, overtone. Please advice me how to solve this problem.

    tq.

Was it an old PCU or a new one?
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

did you fit a brand new 2027 pcu unit!? are you using original or generic tonner!?
i have one af3030 with 1027 pcu working without any problem. and i also put one 3030 pcu unit on one 2027 machine that i have on contract and also works great.

        Try doing SP2802, developer mixing.

        From the manual:
        2802 Developer Mixing
Mixes the developer and checks Vt. The machine mixes the developer for 2
minutes and while doing this, it reads the TD sensor output (Vt). It does not
        initialize the TD sensor output.
... prints may have a dirty
background. In this case, use this SP mode to mix the developer.

If that doesn't work, you may have a bad 1027 PCU. Try replacing it and then perform SP2801, developer initialization.
