    scan to folder ap 3260c

    I have a aficio 3260c problem with setting up scan to folder...
    i have set the path correctly and put in the user name pasword in the smtp auth.
    and when i do a network test it comes back as failed...
    net bios, sharing is all active and working correctly....

    Be sure your firmwares are up to date. If you are trying to scan to a newer OS that uses NTLMv2 by default (like Windows Server 2008, Vista or Windows 7) and the network firmware is out of date the copier won't establish a connection to the share.

      I am sory my question... But, way did you put the password in the SMTP auth????
      Arent you trying to scan-to-folder????
      Did you saw the authentication for the folder??? (user login and password)

        Have had some problems before where even though the path was correct i.e \\myserver\scans it would fail a connection test. Try using the sever IP address instead of server name, this has always work for me

          Assuming firmware is up to date and you meant smb and not smtp, check the firwall settings to make sure thats not blocking it.
