Ricoh Aficio 2045e fax board not working

When sending fax, it will show transmitting but after awhile it will hang. Already tried to clear memory but still cannot work. Anybody can share some knowledge ? Thanks

Try disabling ECM via service bit switches, I don't recall precisely which one - refer to the manual. This will automatically disable all the 'high speed' protocols. Sometimes if line conditions are variable the unit will negotiate a speed higher than the line can actually sustain. The result is a lot of Tx errors and retries.
