As Zeldaman says a well maintained MPC4500 is very different mfp to a AF3245c plenty of features added and very different to work on.

              Hi there!
Sorry, but there are no units or toner etc.. which are identical. The MPC-Series is a complete new construction.
              Greetings

I have found the MPC4500 to be a much better box. Different design completely. Have less color registration issues and the maintenance is pretty easy.

Maintenance on the C4500 is easier, but much more time consuming. There are a few steps you can take to make it easier for you: replace the oiler and cleaner on every EM call, and replace the rest of the fuser around 250-300k. The orange heat roller usually comes off the shaft after that and then you've got bigger issues.

Just lay out everything in terms of screws just like they are as there are a lot of fitted screws.

My first thought when these came out was that there was nothing wrong with the 3245c, but after seeing the output I was quite impressed.

The Mpc 4500 is far superior in every way.
