    Spots on MP6500

    Hi all...

We have four of MP6500 in a same room at one off our costumers, all have same problem, black spots (little lines) on drum. When printed on paper, spots are white. What can couse these spots. All machines are frequently serviced, and PM parts replaced...Thanks

Looks like chicken scratches. Caused by a lack of circulation between the developer and drum. check the fans and replace the filters especially the one next to the transfer unit.

      AKA "Medaka"

Also check the waste toner auger insde the PCU and make sure the auger inside the clear tube is long enough to eject the toner at the top.

You will probably heve to change the brush, it will be contaminated.
