Fax board for Ricoh Aficio 2045eSP

I have Ricoh Aficio 2045eSP. I tryed to put fax board 2045e. It is not working and given me a SC 819. Anyone know more about this. Please let me know. Thanks

SC819. Software error. Remove the fax board and check two things:1) make sure that the MBU is seated all the way on the board and 2} that the jumper was moved to the "on" position.

make sure the firmware is up to date.

I agree with jonhiker: check all of the connections. Getting errors like this is pretty common with fax boards on any model. Probably the boards aren't seated together all the way.
If it happens again, try just rebooting the machine and see if it goes away.
