Savin C3535 Magenta Fading on test pattern and only partially coming out in color mix

Hi! Magenta is producing Orange when it should produce Red (Magenta/yellow combo) Half the time.

It appears that Magenta starts strong and then fades on each print (this is reflected on the Test Pattern).

Changed Drum unit and Dev unit, cleaned Transfer belt and assembly. Did color registration and thorough cleaning. It appears that other threads have had similar problems on different machines (read those) and so far have tried some of the suggestions on this unit. Hoping someone might have seen this before.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

    Thanks!

Sounds like your Magenta is undertoned. This happens on these machines when they aren't used much for color. Alot of the time they won't pass color cal because 1 or more colors are undertoned. Only run forced toner 1 time for any color, other wise you can code out (sc 36x)for vt becoming too low! Also clean the charge rollers.

We already put in DEV unit. So for some reason toner is not able to make it......

Magenta Toner pump was bad and had spewed toner, which in turn was blown about by the airflow. Turns out the simple operator proceedure using the plastic tool in the door to clean the optics allowed machine to make correct copies again. Many times the simplest thing is staring you in the face.

Thanks for taking a look all.
