    [Misc] Scanning to folder

I am trying to san to a folder on a Novell network. I am able to browse from a Ricoh copier all the way to the folder. When I select the folder a message comes back "cannot find the specified path. Any help will be appreciated.

What OS are you scanning to? Have you tried using the IP instead of the computer name in the path statement?

I am seeing the server and I can drill down thru the volumns and I can see the folder. On the copier I select the folder and it comes back after a few seconds "cannot find specified path. It has to drill down a little ways in the tree. I am going to ask their admin if he can move it closer to the root.

Sound like an SMB2 issue. If you are scanning to a Server 2008 or Win7 box you will need nic version H. This is easier than downgrading the smb protocol on the server to smb1
