Ricoh mp2500 lost color detail in print mode

I bought second hand ricoh mpc2500, in copy mode the full color printout is briliant, but when i use mpc2500 as a printer , i lost all the color detail, it seems like the setting for the printer is being locked in full color mode, please all the expert here guide me in sp mode to get the setting back in normal when using mpc 2500 as a printer.

Check first the administrator section and see if color printing is locked and you need to supply a user code before you can use it.

In the driver settings, is color available as a selection? If color is a choice and you select it but the print never appears, then as Apprentice stated it is probably disabled in User Authentication Management in User Tools. If color is not a choice in the driver settings, then you probably have the wrong driver loaded (Mono model MP2500 instead of MPC2500).
Below are example of the setting in a PCL driver for a color device (mono will not have that choice), with a dropdown next to the color choice. Other driver types will look different and may not be visible on the home page, but it's there somewhere.

Thanks all my friend i already found the problem , in user tools, printer feature, maintainance , four color graphics mode was set to text priority, i want to change to photo priority but cannot, it said you do not have the privileges to use this function, is there a way to get rid the administrator privilages via sp mode?
        Thanks before

The text/photo priority setting has no bearing on whether or not it prints in color, it's just for setting the type of color printing you want as default. From the Knowledge Base -
This mode adjusts levels of toner color overlap. If characters or lines blur, setting priority on text may make them clearer. Under normal conditions, set priority on photo.

To answer your question about the login credentials, you will do it through User Tools. When admin management is turned on, the default login is "admin", leave the password blank. If that doesn't work (previous owner changed it from default), login as "supervisor", password blank. When logged in as supervisor, you can only go into the admin management and reset the login and password. If "supervisor" doesn't work, then you will need to change out the nvram.

Can you confirm that you are using the proper driver? Also to be clear, are you saying when you send a color print document that it comes out in B/W or does not print at all?

Okay, I misunderstood what was going on, I originally thought you could only print in Mono. It sounds like you're on the right track. If changing the setting in User Tools doesn't fix it then I would next try adjusting settings in the driver or try a PCL type.

Did you re-input all the non-default values from the SP mode data sheet??!?!?!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

                  Hit it.
