    hard disks sata

    hi

    today i received a ricoh mp1350 missing both hard disks ( sata 160 gb )
    i ordered 2 new disks but the machine doesn't recognize them ( sc860 )
    formatting is no option ( failed )

    looking for good tips

      The hard disks have to be replaced as a pair of identical drives. Check the jumper settings are correct for RAID. Failing that, they are supplied by Ricoh as a RAID assembly on part number B234 6880. I think you'll have to fit that part to get it going properly.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
