I handle machines at a local hospital. I am having problems with the MP4500 bypass. They make labels out of the bypass tray for paperwork. They copy them off the scanner instead of print directly to the machine. I have tried everything to make these labels line up out of the bypass tray.

Any suggestions?

How far out of line is the copy onto the Labels from the original on the scan glass? The machine will always slightly offset from the original, you can mess about with the registration settings but that can present issues when copying normally.

You can always tweak the margin adj in User Tools. Once you find the correct setting for that particular type of job, just save it as a preset using the Program key. Also make sure they are using a Thick setting for the bypass, using plain can throw of the registration somewhat in addition to contributing to incomplete fusing.
