    Unable To Change Admin Password

Hoping someone can help with this one - we've got an MP4001 and an MPC2050 which have had the the admin username and password changed.

I can log into the WIM as 'supervisor', and change the admin password. Log out, try to log back in again with the new admin password but still get an authentication error. Program/change administrator is greyed out in Admin Tools and there is no option to log in in User Tools.

The admin username has been changed to Paul and I can't see any way of changing this either. We know who Paul is but unfortunately he's on annual leave and the customer needs the machines up and running with Equitrac ASAP.

Is the only option to do a 5801-1 in SP mode? Or can someone shed some light on a (hopefully) easy way of getting around this?

If you can log as supervisor you should be able to change the password. Probably you are not saving the settings after changing the user and pass of the administrator.
After log as supervisor change the settings and save it.
By the way in this models i think that SP do not reset the passwords. Only in the older models you can do it.

Thanks for the feedback. Is there something else I have to do to save the settings other than click 'OK' at the bottom of the page?

This is what i told you befour.
After you change the User Name and Pass you need to press "OK" (red cicle) to save the setting.
Probably you are missing this step.
I remember that because i had this problem once with a friend
