Double sided registration vary on pro1106

    Hi

I am posting this on the behalf of a colleague from another branch so i have limitted info.

He is struggling with a PRO1357 which when making double sided copies the back side does not line up exactly with the front side, and it is a little bit skew. He says he back registration between 1 - 3mm.

I my opinion 3mm is not a lot in a machine that quick.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks

I've seen dirty correction CISs cause wandering image on the page, operator to non-operator.

The duplex tray on the left side (clear plastic piece) gets a notch in it and causes this. Check the bottom of the clear plastic. Its almost always the second one from the front. Just cut the piece out replacing it doesn't last very long. Turning off CIS sensors is always a good idea they cause more issues than they are worth.
