    C2550 timer problem

This machine fax and printer functions time out 10 minutes after non- use. They just go off line but the copier is still usable. Checked all the timer setting in User tools? SS>timer and they are the same as my control machine in the office. The customer turns it off and back on and it usable for 10 minutes. There was a tech there Friday and replaced a oneway for a paper jam. Then he had to return because of an SC code, I dont remember what it was but said that the connection between the control panel and controller was lost. He reconnected all the connectors and that went away. Next the fax wasnt recognized so I had him reset the battery board on the FCU and that fixed that. Now the customer is calling with this current complaint. Is there another timer setting that may have gotten scrambled? One that would control both the fax and the printer?
    Ideas appreciated.

I don't know if this really correlates to your issue, but here is a TB in regards to the display staying blank after recovering from sleep.

addendum: Also found this in the Knowledge Base, sounds a little bit more like your issue...

The firmware release information for the System/Copy.

VersionModified Points or Symptom Corrected 1.17
    Symptom corrected:
1.SC817 occurs after the firmware is updated via RFU
2.Might be unable to use the printer function if the MFP that installed VM card option, ELP and MFP Browser returns from energy saver mode.
