Reset inorder to be rid of user sign-in Ricoh MP 4500

Just purchased a Ricoh MP 4500 equivalent Lanier that is asking for a User's sign-in. Is there a button sequence to reset settings back to default? Where can I find the sequence to restore the function? Thank you in advance,Best Regards,Steve

    User tools>system settings>Administrator tools>user authentication >turn it off.

you might have to log in< admin, no password in order to make any changes.

I have more info......The unit will not continue until I replenish the Black toner, also I have another service message on the bottom of the console, that might keep me from using key pad A message in the lower left corner that flashes between almost empty toner and replace toner it is like this....."updating the destination list has failed. Check the delivery server version. Will these all keep me from continuing the reset portion? Thanks again for the quick response,Steve

In user tools , system settings, File transfer, turn delivery option to off. That should kill the updateing delivery server.

You'll probably need to put a new toner bottle in before you'll be able to get into the user tools settings, but the delivery error message won't affect that.

Is this an MP or an MPC4500? MP4500's don't have the kind of display that shows stuff in the bottom left, only the MPC's and the newer MP's like the 4000 have that.
