    [Error Code] ricoh aficio 1035

I recently cleaned excess toner of a ricoh aficio 1035 which was working, now when turning it back on it is giving me a SC322 functional error. What can I do to fix this?

if you were cleaning around the laser area, double check all connections and reboot.

If you've been hoovering around the laser unit, it's possible th diode board has taken a belt. Change the door switches above the fuser first, if that doesn't fix it, new laser unit time.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

If you used an air hose you've probably blown toner into the LD unit or smoked a board from the static produced by it.

The door switches are more likely to be the issue here when the door is closed the bracket supporting the door switch moves as well. The best solution is to place something behind the bracket so that the door switches do not move. The switches cut off the supply line to the Laser diodes unit the lack of pressure can stop the supply line reaching laser unit this is in fact a safety feature built in to the copier to prevent the laser working whilst the customer releases a Jam.

solder out the LED on the LD board, clean inside the small mirror and the two led, put it back and also execute the laser beam adjustment.
