    SC439 on a MPC7501SP

    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone knows a fix for the SC439 error which is a potential sensor error for Yellow. Service manual indicates to clean the sensor but i believe the technician who has pulled the machine apart indicates that he is unable to locate the sensor.

has anyone had the SC code previously? any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

Remove the PCU, Look into the hole it came from. The sensor sits on the top face of the "hole" It's a silver metal case with a small slot in the bottom face. Clean with a blower brush. if you use an air duster make sure the can is level and give the duster a few puffs first to make sure there is no propellent in the airflow. These sensors may blow if subjected to static, but it's probably just dirty.
