    Problem with ARDF on MP4000

    HI everybody

    My problem was on ARDF on MP4000. When paper jam occurs or detect on ARDF, the motor continue running. To Stop i need to switch off main power or Removed ARDF harness but a Sc code Appear. What i need to do. Someone has already this problem, how to solve this problem. I check sensor, Roller, motor can't do nothing Help

      Does it indicate any jam codes? Which model ARDF is it? Does it physically jam paper?

          Problem With DF 3030 on Ricoh MP4000

          HI

          My problem was on ARDF DF3030 on MP4000. When paper jam occurs or detect on ARDF, the motor continue running. I open the DF cover it dectect paper jam on indicator,The Motor continue running. Paper block before Exit sensor. To Stop i need to switch off main power or Removed ARDF harness but a Sc code Sc6.. Appear. What i need to do. Someone has already this problem, how to solve this problem. I check sensor, Roller, motor can't do nothing Help

              There is a bulletin regarding this ARDF, Im not sure if it relates to your problem or not, however, the sensor arm bracket (the one that hangs down from the inside of the top cover) has been changed. I have had a few really strange problems with these and replacing this bracket solved them everytime. Good luck. Hope ya have a win soon.

                  looking through some threads for ARDF 3030 problems...


                  can you post what the part number is for that bracket you mentioned? I was looking at TSBs on the Ricoh tech site and don't see anything for that under DF3030.


                  is it D3662142?



                  I also was looking at the product support guide for the MP4000 (Savin 9040) and it has a DF3010 listed.

                          That's also a way to solve document jams. A bit expensive, I think....
