    Staple problem finisher sr790

    Hi All,

    Have a machine at the moment where the staple unit will move up and down the rail when there are no jobs or after completing the print jobs.Im thinking of ordering the harness or the main board.Anyone had similar problems ideas?

      hi had one of these sorters do all sorts of weird things, eg if the output tray for printing was set as the upper tray it would jam intermittently, replaced eprom that sits on main board in sorter with a super-seeded one
      Also had other techs mention weird faults on this sorter and eprom replacement fixed them also

          hi try replacing the eprom on the sorters main board had myself a few other tech mention that it fixes weird problems

              Had one do that and the ground wire was broken in the staple head harness, ultimately need to replace the harness.
