    Ricoh CL7000 Black Spots

I am getting 3 black spots about 1/3 down on the page than run across the page in a line.

Thanks for any help on what needs to be replaced.

Sounds like you might have a ding in the black drum surface. Time for a new PCU.

I am going to repost this under the printer forum rather than the copier forum.

I checked and this is what I replaced just 5K copies ago; it was doing it before and after the new Photoconductor Unit (Type7000F). Any other ideas what this could be?

Can you post a sample? Also, does the pattern shift up/down the page on subsequent copies? Run an 11x17 sheet through and measure the distance between repeats, that will give you the diameter of the failed component.
