I'm pretty adept at fixing most problems that occur with this machine. However, I turn the machine on and get this: error code sc221 functional error; turn off and unplug everything and try to start it again with the same results. I can't get into any maintenance to even try to figure out what this is. Have spent two days searching on-line with no results. I am currently waiting for a tech to call and come by. In the meantime can't I just reset the printer or something? I run a home business and must have this up and running by Friday. Please help!

There won't be anything you can do about this SC code, it's to do with the write start detection on the K laser. You'll have to wait for the tech to come unfortunately, even then he might have to order parts.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
