Ricoh Aficio MP2510 "cannot connect to communication server...check proxy settings"

I have a Ricoh Aficio MP2510 full multifunction copier where this message "cannot connect to communication server...check proxy settings" appeared on the touchscreen panel. Tried to clear memory on the printer and scanner application through SP copy mode (SP 5801 ). Message disappear for awhile but came back again after 2-3 minutes. Really hope fellow forummers could help to solve this problem. Thank you.

    Question: You can print? scan?
I am not 100% sure. But from what you are saying i think it is a problem with the comunication to @remote.
Try to desable it and see if the message disappears.

remove the connection of the machine on the network if the messages disappears then use static ip address that is unique no duplicate on the lan

That does indicate an issue with @Remote. If it previously connected to @Remote with no problems then something changed on their network. If it's setup using embedded, they could have added a proxy recently. If they use an @Remote appliance on the network (if the have a number of mfp's on the network) then it just may be a case of it unplugged from the network. Check with their IT people first, otherwise you can just turn off the service to get rid of the nag message.
