    printing to windows 7 home problems on Ricoh 3228c

    set up a laptop wth windows 7 home and the pc sees the printer but wont print.
    i can ping the printer but doesnt print.
    using standard ip address which all other office pcs are using.
    is this a firmware issue?
    i tried to remote upgrade the firmware"web image monitor" but upon loggin i dont get rom update under the configuration menu.
    have adminst loggon shut off, and still cant see it..
    what am i missing?

      What driver are you using?

          its odd because one pc tower is printing under windows 7 64 but home wth no problems..

              Is the laptop 32 bit or 64?

                  the laptop is 64 bit as is the pc.
                  i can scan from the laptop.
                  i heard firmware updates might help on printing wth newer versions of windows,
                  but cant figure whats going on here.
