Ricoh AC-205 small mfp with phantom paper jam

Have an AC-205 that says " Paper Jam 1" and "Open/Close Door" on the display. Can't figure out what it could be except a bad sensor? Has anyone seen this before? Thanks

Campari's have a bad habit of chewing up their feed tyres and friction pads. Change them both and you should be sorted.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Thanks, I had replaced the feed tire on this machine about 6 months ago. Tried to clean it but it did no good, I guess the rubber is soft and just wears down real fast. I thought it might have been a bad sensor, have not been out yet to see it. Thanks for you help Mr. Munkeh!

No problemo. A customer of ours has loads of these in retail stores that use horribly thin paper, around 50-60gsm. It's nearly tracing paper. Sufficed to say the machines hate it, they need a new set of feed tyres roughly every 6 months.
